Agree with ki from Austin. Found out about GA getting the tax-credit-as-down-payment from an Athens blog. I knew it was being used in Arizona and elsewhere only through blogs (phoenixrealestateguy), and had pushed our strategic partner to find out more. Before he could do anything (he’d told me he thought it was illegal), I popped up on the Athens blog to find it’s becoming a national reality.

In addition to the national sites I find local realtor blogs a excellent source of information. Its a excellent way to get a excellent feel of what is happening on the ground in different cities.

I like the RSS feature on Thunderbird, it allows me to keep updated on all fronts and I can check my emails at the same time. The cool thing is that it can work with yahoo, hotmail, and gmail, so all of my personal email accts are there in one spot.

Google news is a fantastic source if you have time to go through a ton of information they have on everything. If you need some quick news every day GN is not the best choice.
