I love that Goethe quote. I used to use it for my desktop wallpaper on my old PC. From time to time, it helped to keep me motivated and things in perspective.

Build up your weaknesses until they become your strong points…to me that means working on the things you like the least so they rise up to be the things that you do to reinforce all the things you already do. Do a SWOT analysis…Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities and Threats. Weaknesses seem to always be the biggest challenge.

Re Mark Twain. The world would be a better place if more people learned not to say what is on their minds.

I like the notion that ‘Every man is the architect of his own future.’ There are too many people a victims attitude, who you are now is a result of you own thinking not other people. The future is whatever you make it.

Thanks for the quotes they are great. It is amazing how much a positive attitude can help your business. It is really easy to get frustrated in this business especially in this market. There’s nothing worse than taking a client around once a week for three months and then they inform you they’re going to hold off on purchasing a new house

One I would add is this: Don’t look too far down the road ahead of you as you might just end up in a pot hole. Can’t remember who said that…
