Ok - I have 2 questions:

1) why are 100% of all the so called "keywordLuv" links all nofollows on this site?

2) what is your opinion so far about the "connect/content" link at the bottom of the page - is it worth the 12 bucks a month?

Thanks

Thanks for the insightful article. I've been using commentluv to foster more commenting on my real estate blog for Colorado but haven't experimented with keywordluv. Although after reading your article I think it makes good sense!

Have you had a noticeable increase in your readership or commenting after installing keywordluv?

I like the idea of keyword luv and can see how it encourages visits and comments, but how many people out there are just flicking around between blogs, leaving comments for backlinks??

Keyword luv is a cool plugin but it was causing problems with my theme so I had to remove it and stick with No Follow Free. Which is another type of do follow plugin.
