		<description>Be involved in your community: True, many agents think they can do a great  job and referrals will come. While this may be true, it never hurts to get your name out there by being where the people will be. I know an agent who sponsors all of the local events, so is the featured vendors. This earns her a lot of business.</description>

		<description>This may sound sort of funny but I kind of like the ol fashioned approach of going out and shaking a few hands.. Just meet some people.  I think we too often hide behind &quot;methods&quot; of meeting people rather than just going out and meeting them. Kind of like cold calling on the phone.. not too many people like doing it but it is one of the most rewarding and successful ways of getting new business for FREE.</description>
